DS-2CV2141G2-IDW Hikvision Dome IP Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CV2141G2-IDW is a 4 MP EXIR fixed dome network camera designed for high-quality, long-distance night monitoring. It uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 for clear, detailed video. Day and night performance is supported by an IR cut filter and EXIR 2.0 infrared technology, providing IR illumination up to 30 m at 850 nm for effective low-light coverage. Efficient H.265 compression (H.265+/H.265) helps reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining image quality.

For connectivity and installation convenience, the camera supports Wi‑Fi connections and includes a built-in Wi‑Fi interface, plus a microSD card slot for on-board recording and local storage. Live view is supported through iVMS-4200 and browser viewing with plugin-free options in Chrome/Firefox. The device also includes built-in two-way audio (microphone and speaker), enabling real-time communication.

With rugged protection rated IP66, the camera is suitable for outdoor environments. It supports simultaneous live view on up to 6 channels and includes a range of security and network features such as HTTPS encryption and security auditing. Note: direct Hik‑Connect Wi‑Fi connection is not possible, as stated in the datasheet.
