Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE4215TG-3 is a 2MP PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) analogue dome camera designed for wide-area monitoring with flexible viewing control. It delivers up to 1920 × 1080 resolution using a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor. For low-light environments, it features powered-by-DarkFighter technology, helping provide strong image performance when ambient light is limited. The camera also supports advanced image quality features including 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to help produce clearer images in scenes with strong backlight.
With 15× optical zoom (16× digital), the DS-2AE4215TG-3 allows operators to move from wide overviews to detailed long-range views. Pan is 360° endless, with tilt ranging from -5° to 90° (auto flip), and the camera includes proportional pan rotation speed that adjusts based on zoom level. For control flexibility and automated surveillance, it supports 256 presets, 10 patrols (up to 32 presets per patrol), and multiple scan modes including pattern scans and park actions.
The unit is built for demanding installation conditions with IP66 water/dust resistance and operating temperatures of -10°C to 50°C (humidity up to 90%). A switchable video output supports TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS (NTSC or PAL composite via BNC), making it suitable for analogue Turbo HD deployments. Additional protections include lightning, surge, and voltage transient protection.
