Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE4225TG-3 AE PTZ is a 2MP Turbo HD/AE PTZ dome camera designed for wide-area monitoring with smooth pan/tilt control and long-distance detail using high optical zoom. It delivers a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 and supports video output with switchable TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS, using PAL/NTSC composite (BNC). For challenging lighting conditions, the camera offers powered-by-DarkFighter technology for excellent low-light performance, and 120 dB WDR to help maintain clear images against strong backlight. The IR cut filter enables day/night operation.
For coverage flexibility, the PTZ mechanism provides 360° endless pan and tilt from -5° to 90° with auto flip, plus adjustable proportional pan rotation speed depending on zoom level. The lens provides 25× optical zoom (with 16× digital zoom) and a focal length range of 4.8 mm to 120 mm, supporting wide-to-tele viewing angles. Configuration includes 256 presets, 10 patrols (up to 32 presets per patrol), and pattern/panorama scan options. The camera also includes power-off memory and preset freezing.
Additional image processing features include AGC, white balance, BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR, along with 8 programmable privacy masks. Built for demanding environments, the device is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance and includes protection such as 4,000 V lightning/surge/voltage transient protection.
