Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE4225TG is a Turbo HD PTZ dome analogue camera designed for high-detail monitoring over wide areas. It features a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and delivers up to 1920 × 1080 maximum resolution for clear, detailed images. A 25× optical zoom (with 16× digital zoom) supports closer viewing of subjects at distance, while wide FOV coverage helps with initial scene acquisition.
For reliable image quality under challenging lighting, the camera includes 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology and offers image enhancements such as BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR. Privacy masking with 8 programmable masks helps protect sensitive areas.
PTZ functionality includes 360° endless pan movement and tilt from -5° to 90° with auto flip. Operation supports up to 256 presets, as well as patrol scans (10 patrols) and pattern scans (5 patterns), enabling flexible automated coverage. Preset freezing and power-off memory help maintain consistent camera behavior after interruptions.
The DS-2AE4225TG supports switchable TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS video output for compatibility with multiple analogue video systems, and uses RS-485 (half-duplex) for control with support for self-adaptive Hikvision and Pelco protocols. The camera is rated for outdoor use with IP66 protection and lightning/surge/transient protection features.
