Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE5225ITG is an analogue PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) dome camera designed for wide-area monitoring with sharp 2MP imaging (1920 × 1080). It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports reliable day and night performance with a built-in IR illuminator. For challenging lighting conditions, the camera delivers clear viewing against strong backlight thanks to 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).
For flexible surveillance, the PTZ movement includes 360° endless pan and tilt capability from -15° to 90° with auto flip, making it suitable for tracking zones of interest. With 25x optical zoom, operators can bring distant details closer while keeping coverage broad. IR lighting extends up to 150 m, helping maintain visibility during low-light and night conditions.
The camera also includes features that help improve image quality and usability, including AGC and white balance control, 3D DNR, and backlight compensation options such as BLC and HLC. Privacy masking is supported with 8 programmable masks.
For deployment, the DS-2AE5225ITG is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance and includes lightning/surge and voltage transient protection. It is specified for operation from -30°C to 65°C, making it appropriate for demanding outdoor environments requiring long-range viewing and dependable PTZ control.
