Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE5225TG is an AE PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) dome camera designed for flexible monitoring of wide outdoor areas. With a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 1920 × 1080 (2MP) resolution for clear detail. The camera supports a 25× optical zoom, with an additional 16× digital zoom, letting you bring distant subjects closer without losing critical context.
For challenging lighting conditions, the DS-2AE5225TG includes powered-by-DarkFighter technology for strong low-light performance, and a 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) feature to improve visibility in scenes with strong backlighting. Day/Night operation is supported by an IR cut filter for more reliable imaging as light levels change.
PTZ control enables 360° endless pan and a tilt range of -5° to 90° (with auto flip), while offering 256 presets, patrol scanning and pattern scanning for automated coverage. The camera can also freeze on presets and provides park actions for preset/patrol/pattern and scan modes, supporting scheduled tasks and power-off memory for continuity after outages.
With switchable TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS output and half-duplex RS-485, the DS-2AE5225TG integrates with common Turbo HD/analog systems. Built for outdoor use, it offers IP66 protection and IK10 impact resistance, along with surge and lightning protection.
