Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE5225TI-A(E) IR Turbo 5-Inch Speed Dome is a 2MP PTZ solution designed for high-quality surveillance in low-light conditions. Built with a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 and supports up to 25/30 fps at full resolution depending on power frequency. For challenging lighting scenarios, the camera includes true 120 dB WDR to help retain detail in both bright and dark areas.
Featuring a powerful 25× optical zoom (with 16× digital zoom), the dome provides a wide-to-tele field of view for long-range monitoring. An IR cut filter supports day/night operation, while IR illumination reaches up to 150 m with intensity automatically adjusted based on the zoom ratio. Advanced image processing includes 3D DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction), electric image stabilization (EIS), and regional focus for enhanced clarity.
The speed dome supports PTZ automation tools such as 256 presets, up to 10 patrols (up to 32 presets per patrol), and 5 patterns (total recording time no less than 10 minutes). It also supports 3D intelligent positioning and park actions including preset/patrol/pattern/pan scan/tile scan/panorama scan and scheduled day/night modes.
Video output is switchable between TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS for compatibility with Turbo HD and analogue DVR systems. The unit is designed for outdoor use with IP66 protection and operates from -30°C to 65°C.
