Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2AE7232ITG is a 2MP PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) dome camera designed for wide-area monitoring with detailed imaging and strong low-light performance. With a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and maximum 1920 × 1080 resolution, it delivers high-quality video suitable for day and night security applications.
For challenging lighting conditions, the camera supports WDR of at least 120 dB, helping maintain clarity when subjects are backlit or exposed to high contrast scenes. To enhance visibility in dark environments, it uses powered-by-DarkFighter technology and an IR illuminator with a rated range of up to 150 m, supporting 0 lux operation with IR.
The PTZ capabilities enable flexible surveillance coverage: it offers 360° endless pan movement and tilt from -15° to 90° (with auto flip). With 32x optical zoom (plus digital zoom), operators can bring distant subjects into closer view for identification and monitoring. The camera includes 256 presets, patrol scan support, pattern scan modes, and configurable park and scheduled actions.
Built for outdoor use, it provides IP66 water/dust resistance and IK10 protection (excluding the glass window). Additional features include privacy masks, 3D DNR for image noise reduction, and BLC/HLC for backlight compensation. Interfaces support switchable video output (TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) and RS-485 for control.
