The Hikvision DS-2CD20166G3-I(U)Y is a 16MP fixed bullet network IP camera designed for clear, detailed video capture day and night. Powered by DarkFighter technology delivers excellent low-light performance, while the camera supports IR illumination with a supplement light range of up to 40 meters (850 nm). For challenging lighting conditions, it includes 130 dB true WDR to help maintain image clarity against strong backlight.
Built for outdoor installations, the camera is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance and features anti-corrosion design with MODERATE protection, offering greater reliability and longevity compared with standard NEMA 4X. The durable metal front cover, metal body, and metal bracket support harsh environments.
For intelligent monitoring, the camera uses deep learning with person and vehicle classification, plus smart event capabilities such as perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting) and motion detection that can trigger alarms based on specified target types (human and vehicle). It also supports basic events like video tampering and exception alerts.
For flexibility in deployment, the camera offers selectable fixed lens options (2.8 mm, 4 mm, and 6 mm). Network and integration features include ONVIF support, simultaneous live view up to 6 channels, and onboard microSD support up to 512 GB for local recording. It can be powered via 12 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3).
