Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2187G3-LI(S2U)Y is an 8MP fixed mini dome network camera designed for 24/7 monitoring with vivid ColorVu imaging. It uses ColorVu technology with F1.0 super-aperture lenses and advanced sensor technology to improve utilization of available light for bright, detailed scenes. For image quality in varying conditions, the camera supports scene-adaptive WDR (130 dB) and offers enhancements such as BLC, HLC, 3D DNR, distortion correction, and defog, alongside EIS for stabilization.
The camera is built for smart detection with deep learning-based person and vehicle classification, plus perimeter protection features including line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting. Events also include motion detection (with alarm triggering by specified target types), video tampering alarm, and exception handling.
For low-light operation, the Smart Hybrid Light combines white light and IR illumination with up to 30 m supplement lighting range, and includes smart supplemental light control. The -S2U variant integrates a built-in arrayed dual-microphone for real-time high-quality audio security. The camera is designed for reliable outdoor use with an anti-corrosion design (moderate protection) and weather/vandal resistance rating of IP67 and IK10.
