The Hikvision DS-2CD23166G3-I(2U)Y is a 16MP AcuSense Powered by DarkFighter fixed turret network camera designed for reliable perimeter monitoring with strong low-light performance. It delivers UHD ultra high definition imaging at up to 4608 × 3456 resolution, with an IR-cut day/night system for consistent operation across lighting conditions. Powered by DarkFighter technology supports excellent low-light visibility, while the camera includes an integrated IR illuminator (850 nm) with a supplement light range up to 40 m. For challenging lighting situations, the camera uses 130 dB true WDR technology to improve image clarity against strong backlight.
The camera supports deep-learning-based classification and AcuSense smart functions, including person and vehicle classification, line crossing, intrusion, region entrance and region exiting, and alarm triggering based on specified target types. It also provides smart scene change detection and standard motion detection with tampering and exception alarms. Built-in audio capability is available for the -2U model through a mono arrayed dual-microphone, supporting audio filtering to help reduce environment noise.
For connectivity and recording, it supports multiple streams and common network protocols, with ONVIF profiles available. Integrated storage supports microSD/microSDXC cards up to 512 GB. The camera is engineered for outdoor use with IP67 water-and-dust resistance and anti-corrosion protection (NEMA 4X), offering durable performance and longevity.
