Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2343G2-IU is a 4MP fixed turret network (IP) camera designed for reliable day and night monitoring with AcuSense deep-learning target classification. It focuses on human and vehicle targets to improve alarm efficiency and effectiveness across front- and back-end systems. With a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520, the camera delivers high-quality imaging for detailed identification.
For challenging lighting conditions, the camera supports 120 dB WDR (wide dynamic range), helping maintain clear visibility against strong backlight. Video compression includes H.265+ and H.265/H.264/H.264+ options to help reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. The IR illuminator provides night imaging up to 30 m at 850 nm wavelength.
Built-in audio is included on the “-U” variant, offering an on-board microphone for real-time audio security. The camera also supports features such as motion detection with human/vehicle classification, video tampering alarm, and face detection. Additional smart perimeter protection includes line crossing detection and intrusion detection.
Designed for outdoor installations, the camera offers IP67 water and dust resistance. It supports PoE (802.3af) and 12 VDC power, with local storage via built-in microSD (up to 512 GB).
