The Hikvision DS-2CD2383G2-I(U) is an 8 MP fixed turret network camera designed for reliable, high-quality monitoring. Powered by deep learning algorithms and Hikvision AcuSense technology, it focuses on human and vehicle target classification to help improve alarm efficiency and effectiveness. With a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and up to 3840 × 2160 resolution, the camera delivers clear details for day and night surveillance.
For challenging lighting conditions, the camera features 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to support clearer imaging against strong backlight. It uses H.265+ compression for efficient bandwidth and storage, while still supporting multiple streaming profiles for flexible system integration.
Night visibility is provided by IR illumination (850 nm) with a range up to 30 m, along with day/night functionality via an IR cut filter. The -U variant includes a built-in microphone for real-time audio security.
Designed for outdoor use, the camera offers IP67 protection against water and dust, and supports operation in a wide temperature range (-30 °C to 60 °C). Network connectivity includes common IP protocols and supports up to 6 simultaneous live view channels, plus onboard microSD storage (up to 512 GB).
