The Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2H-IS2U/S(L)(RB) is an 8MP fixed turret network camera designed for real-time perimeter security. It delivers high-quality imaging at up to 3840×2160 resolution and uses 120 dB WDR technology to maintain clear detail in high-contrast lighting conditions, including strong backlight. For efficient storage and streaming, the camera supports H.265+ compression, helping reduce bandwidth and recording requirements.
This model is built around deep learning-based classification to support focus on human and vehicle detection. When motion or smart events occur (including line crossing, intrusion, and region entry/exit), the camera can trigger both audio and visual deterrence. It features an active strobe light and audible warning to warn intruders off, and it also supports alarm output linkage for recording and notifications.
For everyday deployment, the camera includes built-in two-way audio capability and an SD card slot with onboard storage support up to 512 GB. The camera is water and dust resistant to IP67, suitable for outdoor installations. IR illumination with a supplement light range up to 30 m supports night imaging, while smart supplemental light is available. Ethernet connectivity, ONVIF support, and client compatibility (iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect) make it easy to integrate into existing surveillance systems.
