Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2443G2-IW (W) is a 4 MP fixed cube network IP camera designed for real-time, clear monitoring in day and night conditions. It uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture up to 2560 × 1440 resolution, providing detailed images for surveillance applications. To maintain image clarity in challenging lighting, the camera supports Digital WDR for improved performance against strong backlight.
For enhanced detection accuracy, the camera supports human and vehicle classification based on deep learning. It also features motion detection with alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle) to help reduce false alarms.
Night imaging is supported with an IR illuminator (850 nm) with a supplement light range up to 10 m, along with an IR cut filter for reliable day/night switching (Day, Night, Auto, Schedule). Audio support includes a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio, enabling real-time communication.
Connectivity and integration are handled through standard IP protocols including ONVIF (and SDK), with simultaneous live view support for up to 4 channels. For onboard recording flexibility, it includes a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card slot supporting storage up to 512 GB. The camera can be powered via 12 VDC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 3).
