The Hikvision DS-2CD2543G2-I(WS) is a 4MP AcuSense fixed mini dome network IP camera designed for clear, reliable monitoring with intelligent alerting. Powered by deep learning algorithms, AcuSense technology focuses on human and vehicle targets, improving alarm efficiency and effectiveness for both front- and back-end systems. The camera supports WDR imaging with 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range to help maintain clarity in strong backlight scenarios.

For efficient recording and streaming, it uses H.265+ compression (also supports H.265/H.264 options depending on stream settings), helping reduce bandwidth and storage use. Video performance is available up to 2688 × 1520 and supports multiple streams for flexible integration. The camera also includes an IR illuminator with a supplement light range up to 30 meters, enabling night operation.

Image capture includes day/night switching with an IR cut filter, while image enhancement features like BLC, HLC, and 3D DNR help improve visibility in varying lighting conditions.
