DS-2CD2786G2-IZS Hikvision Dome IP Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD2786G2-IZS is an 8 MP AcuSense motorized varifocal dome network camera designed for high-quality surveillance and smarter alarm detection. Built on 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS imaging, it delivers up to 3840 × 2160 maximum resolution with excellent low-light performance enabled by Powered-by-DarkFighter technology. An IR illuminator provides night imaging up to 40 m (850 nm). The camera features a motorized varifocal lens (2.8 to 12 mm) to simplify installation and field-of-view adjustment, while 120 dB true WDR helps maintain clear images in challenging scenes with strong backlight.

AcuSense deep learning enhances event reliability by focusing on human and vehicle targets classification for improved alarm efficiency at the edge and across the system. It supports motion detection with human/vehicle classification, video tampering alarms, and other smart event functions including scene change detection. For video compression, the camera supports efficient H.265+ compression technologies to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Connectivity and recording support include up to 6 simultaneous live view channels, open network video interfaces, and local on-board storage via a built-in microSD slot (up to 512 GB) with ANR support.

For durability, the DS-2CD2786G2-IZS is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance, making it suitable for demanding outdoor installations. Audio and alarm interfaces are available for integrated security applications.
