Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS is an 8MP smart hybrid light varifocal dome network camera designed for 24/7 monitoring with ColorVu color imaging. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports up to 3840 × 2160 resolution for detailed, high-definition footage. For flexible coverage, the lens is motorized and varifocal (2.8 to 12 mm), providing wide-to-tele viewing angles and remote lens zoom/focus adjustment.
To improve scene clarity in challenging lighting, the camera incorporates 130 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, helping preserve details in high-contrast backlight situations. For advanced detection, deep learning enables human and vehicle classification, supporting smarter event handling.
For visibility in low light, the camera supports IR illumination and white light with smart hybrid light modes, enabling colorful imaging via ColorVu technology. The supplementary light range is up to 40 m, supporting consistent identification in dim environments.
For installation and day-to-day operation, the camera features motorized pan/tilt/rotate (PTZ-like control) with remote angle adjustment cycles, plus built-in audio and alarm interfaces (1 line-in, 1 line-out, and alarm input/output). The camera is built for demanding outdoor environments with IP66 water and dust resistance and IK10 vandal resistance, making it suitable for secure perimeter and facility surveillance applications.
