The Hikvision DS-2CD2787G2H-LIPTRZS2U/S(L)(RB) is an 8MP ColorVu motorized PTRZ (Pan/Tilt/Rotate/Zoom) dome network camera designed for 24/7 colorful monitoring. Using a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 3840 × 2160 maximum resolution for clear identification at distance. The motorized pan (0° to 350°), tilt (0° to 85°) and rotate (0° to 350°) with remote adjustment enables flexible installation and easy long-range coverage with varifocal zoom (2.8 to 12 mm).
For challenging lighting conditions, the camera supports 130 dB WDR to help maintain image clarity against strong backlight. It also includes deep learning-based human and vehicle classification for smarter, more reliable detection. For low-light scenes, the ColorVu technology provides 24/7 colorful imaging, supported by IR and white light with Smart Hybrid Light modes; the supplement light range is up to 40 m.
Audio and alerting are also supported, featuring an arrayed dual-microphone for real-time high-quality audio security. On the “-SL” model variant, an active strobe light and audio alarm are available to warn intruders. Built for rugged environments, it is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance, making it suitable for outdoor applications.
