Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2D25G1/M-D/NF is a 2 MP mini network (IP) camera designed for clear, efficient video surveillance. It supports up to 1920 × 1080 (2 MP) maximum resolution and uses H.265/H.264 compression to help save bandwidth and storage, with H.265+ available on the main stream. For challenging lighting conditions, the camera features 120 dB true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to improve clarity when there is strong backlight.
To enhance image quality, the camera includes 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) to deliver clean and sharp images, along with image enhancement functions such as BLC, HLC, defog, and 3D DNR. The camera also offers configurable day/night operation (Day, Night, Auto, Schedule) and privacy masking for added on-image privacy control.
On the connectivity side, it supports a broad set of network protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP/RTCP, RTP, NTP, UPnP, SNMP, IGMP, IPv6, Bonjour, and SSL/TLS. It supports simultaneous live view of up to 15 channels and provides APIs such as ONVIF, ISAPI, SDK, and ISUP 5.0.
For audio, it supports mono audio with multiple compression options. Event detection includes motion detection, video tampering alarm, and exception alarms (e.g., HDD full/error and network disconnection), as well as smart events like intrusion detection and line crossing.
