Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2E43G2-U is a 4MP AcuSense in-ceiling fixed mini dome network IP camera designed to improve alarm accuracy with deep learning target classification. Powered by Hikvision AcuSense technology, it focuses on human and vehicle targets, helping front- and back-end systems reduce false alarms and increase efficiency.
For imaging, the camera uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520. It delivers clear detail in challenging lighting thanks to 120 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). The camera supports efficient H.265+ compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements.
Audio capability is included with a built-in microphone for real-time audio security. For on-site recording and flexible storage, it supports a built-in microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card slot (up to 512 GB), plus network storage options such as NAS (NFS/SMB/CIFS) with ANR.
The device provides multi-stream video support and supports ROI (Region of Interest) with one fixed ROI per stream. Smart events include face detection, while perimeter protection supports line crossing and intrusion with alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle). Connectivity includes Ethernet with API support for common Hikvision integrations and standard protocols such as RTSP/RTCP/HTTPS.
