Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD2H83G2-IZS is an 8 MP AcuSense motorized varifocal turret network camera designed for clear, reliable monitoring in challenging lighting conditions. It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports up to 3840 × 2160 (8 MP) maximum resolution. For lens flexibility during installation, the camera features a motorized varifocal lens with a 2.8 to 12 mm focal length, providing a wide-to-tele field of view. To improve image quality against glare and strong backlight, the camera includes 120 dB true WDR.
AcuSense deep learning focuses on human and vehicle targets classification, helping improve alarm efficiency and effectiveness at front- and back-end devices. The camera supports motion detection (with human/vehicle target classification), video tampering alarm, and face detection. For low-light scenes, it includes an IR illuminator (850 nm) with smart IR support and an IR range up to 40 m.
Compression is handled efficiently with H.265+ support to help reduce bandwidth and storage while maintaining video quality. The camera is built for demanding outdoor use with IP67 water/dust resistance and IK10 vandal resistance. Connectivity includes an RJ45 Ethernet interface, built-in microSD/SD card slot (up to 512 GB), audio input/output interfaces, and alarm input/output for system integration.
