Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD3T86G2-4ISY(Y) is an 8 MP fixed bullet network camera designed for reliable, high-detail monitoring. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture up to 3840 × 2160 (8 MP) resolution and delivers clear imagery in challenging lighting conditions. Powered by Hikvision DarkFighter technology, the camera provides strong low-light performance and uses an 850 nm IR illuminator with a supplement light range up to 90 m, supporting smart supplementary lighting for more consistent results.
For demanding outdoor scenes, the camera features 120 dB true WDR to improve clarity against strong backlight. Imaging is further enhanced with BLC, HLC, 3D DNR and Defog, helping reduce noise and improve visibility in foggy or high-contrast environments. Video compression is handled efficiently using H.265+ family codecs, helping reduce bandwidth and storage requirements.
A key capability is AcuSense-style deep-learning target classification focused on people and vehicles. Motion detection supports alarm triggering by specified target types (human and vehicle), and perimeter protection includes line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting, with alarms also triggerable by human/vehicle targets.
With water and dust resistance rated IP67, the camera is suitable for outdoor installations. It also supports HEOP (Hikvision Embedded Open Platform) for importing third-party applications, and offers features such as ROI, target cropping, audio input/output, and onboard microSD storage (up to 512 GB).
