Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD6825G0/C-I(S)(B) is a 2 MP IR network camera designed for clear surveillance in day and night conditions. It uses a 1/2.7″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440, delivering sharp detail for monitoring applications. For challenging lighting, the camera features true 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) to maintain visibility against strong backlight.
For low-light performance, the camera includes an IR illuminator (850 nm) with a supplement light range of up to 6 m. Image quality is further enhanced by 3D DNR (3D noise reduction), helping produce clean and sharp images. The day/night function uses an IR cut filter, supporting automatic switching based on scene conditions.
Video is encoded efficiently with H.265+ / H.265 to reduce bandwidth while maintaining quality. The camera supports different frame rates based on 50 Hz or 60 Hz operation, and offers multiple streams for flexible recording and viewing. Connectivity includes RJ45 10/100 Mbps Ethernet with ONVIF-style ecosystem support via iVMS-4200 and Hik-Connect, plus broad protocol support for network integration.
This model also supports security features such as password protection, HTTPS encryption, 802.1X authentication, and IP address filtering. A -S variant includes mono audio and alarm interfaces, enabling audio input/output and alarm signaling for expanded use cases.
