The Hikvision DS-2CD6825G0/C-IV(S)(B) is a 2 MP IR network (IP) camera designed for clear, reliable video capture in challenging lighting conditions. It delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 with efficient H.265+ compression to help reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. For difficult backlight scenes, the camera supports true 120 dB WDR, helping preserve image detail when subjects are strongly backlit.
To improve overall image clarity, the camera includes 3D DNR noise reduction for clean and sharp footage, plus defog and other image enhancement options such as BLC and HLC. For low-light use, it features an IR illuminator (850 nm) with a supplement light range of up to 6 m, supporting day/night operation with an IR cut filter.
The DS-2CD6825G0/C-IV(S)(B) also includes practical connectivity and system features such as H.265/H.264 video compression formats, ROI, audio support on the “-S” variant, and network security measures like HTTPS encryption and 802.1X authentication. It is built for outdoor resilience with an IP67 water and dust resistance rating. Additional functionality includes people counting (counts entering/exiting separately) through the deep learning function, along with motion and tampering alarms and event-based linkages such as FTP/NAS uploads and email notifications.
