Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CD6982G0-U is a 16MP 180° panoramic (Panoramic View) network camera designed for wide-area monitoring with accurate on-site audio capture. Using a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS image sensor, the camera delivers a panoramic maximum resolution of 7168 × 2160, while a tracking shot mode provides a 1920 × 1080 tracking output for focused viewing when needed. For low-light environments, the datasheet specifies a minimum illumination of 0.03 Lux (F1.0, AGC ON). The lens offers a fixed M16 mount with ultra-wide horizontal field of view around 200° ± 10° (options listed for 2.0 mm or 2.8 mm), supporting comprehensive situational awareness. Audio support is built in with two microphones and environment noise filtering.
