The Hikvision DS-2CD6984G1-IHS(U)Y(/NFC) is a high-resolution 180° Panoramic (PanoVu) network camera designed for wide-area surveillance. It provides full panoramic coverage through a 180° splicing image presentation, delivering a maximum resolution of 8160 × 3616 (32MP) for crisp detail—ideal for video wall viewing and large spaces. With a fixed focal lens (2.8 mm, four lenses), the camera offers a single-lens horizontal FOV of 108.8° and a panorama horizontal FOV of 185°, covering a broad field of view in both day and night.

For remote positioning, the unit supports remote motorized pan and tilt adjustment, enabling easier alignment to the monitored area. It includes a built-in heater for reliable ultra-low temperature startup down to -40 °C (-40 °F), supporting outdoor deployments in harsh climates. The camera is protected against harsh environments with IP67 water-and-dust resistance and IK10 vandal resistance, along with anti-corrosion protection rated as MODERATE PROTECTION.

Night performance is supported by Hikvision DarkFighter technology, which captures high-quality color images in low-light conditions. The camera also includes four IR LEDs with an illuminator range up to 20 m (850 nm), supporting supplemental IR illumination when required. On the connectivity side, it supports ONVIF and multiple streaming/compression options including H.265+/H.265/H.264, with features such as ROI and up to four simultaneous live-view channels.
