Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2CV2041G2-IDW is a 4 MP EXIR fixed bullet Wi‑Fi network camera designed for straightforward installation and reliable day/night surveillance. It uses a 1/3″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440, providing detailed real-time monitoring. Built-in Wi‑Fi (802.11n) enables cable-free setup, and the camera supports simultaneous live view of up to 4 channels. For two-way communication, it includes built-in two-way audio via a built-in microphone and speaker.
Night performance is enabled by EXIR 2.0 infrared technology with a supplement light range of up to 30 m using 850 nm IR illumination. The camera also includes features such as IR cut filter for day/night switching, WDR 80 dB for improved visibility in challenging lighting, and 3D DNR and BLC image enhancement.
Flexible recording and storage are supported with an on-board microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card slot supporting up to 512 GB. The camera is water and dust resistant with IP66 protection, suitable for outdoor installations. Security features include password protection, HTTPS encryption, and security audit logging. Motion detection supports alarm triggering using specified target types (human and vehicle), and events can trigger upload, notify a surveillance center, or recording/capture.
