The Hikvision DS-2DE2A404IWG1-E/W is a 4MP dome-style IP PTZ WiFi outdoor camera designed for reliable perimeter protection in both indoor and outdoor environments such as corridors, offices, factories, convenience stores, and restaurants. Built around a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 2560 × 1440 resolution for clear detail. With 4× optical zoom (plus 16× digital zoom) and PTZ pan/tilt control (pan 0° to 355°, tilt 0° to 90°), the camera is well suited for monitoring expansive areas while maintaining flexibility to focus on targets.
For intelligent detection, the camera supports human and vehicle classification based on deep learning and features Hikvision AcuSense technology for smarter event handling. Its powered-by-DarkFighter low-light performance helps maintain usable imagery in challenging illumination conditions. At night, it provides IR illumination with an up to 20 m IR range and supports a smart IR function.
The DS-2DE2A404IWG1-E/W also includes audio security with a built-in microphone and speaker for real-time two-way communication. For deployment, it supports Wi-Fi for easier installation, and it includes IP66 weather resistance and IK10 vandal resistance for dependable operation outdoors. Audio/video compression options include H.265+ / H.265 / H.264 for efficient recording, and the camera supports ONVIF and Hikvision client platforms such as iVMS-4200, HikCentral Pro, and Hik-Connect.
