Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE2C400IWG/W is a 4 MP fixed outdoor IR Wi‑Fi network camera designed for stand-alone surveillance with remote viewing via Hik‑Connect. It uses a 1/2.9″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 to deliver clear detail for perimeter monitoring. For low-light performance, the camera includes EXIR 2.0 and IR illumination with a specified IR distance up to 30 m, using an 850 nm wavelength.
The camera supports AI-assisted analytics including human detection, vehicle detection, and Auto-tracking Lite, helping reduce false alarms and support more relevant monitoring. It also offers digital WDR for improved visibility under challenging lighting conditions.
For audio, the unit includes a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling real-time audio security and two-way alerting through supported linkages such as audible warning. Storage is local with a built-in microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card slot supporting capacities up to 512 GB.
Designed for outdoor use, it is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance, and operates in a wide temperature range from -30 °C to 50 °C (humidity 95% or less, non-condensing). Network connectivity includes Wi‑Fi (WPA‑PSK/WPA2‑PSK) and standard IP protocols, with optional ONVIF/SDK support for integration.
