Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE4225IWG1-E is a 2 MP (1920 × 1080) Powered-by-DarkFighter network IR speed dome designed for long-range surveillance over expansive areas. It combines a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a 25× optical zoom lens (plus 16× digital zoom) to deliver close-up detail from far distances. For enhanced night performance, the dome provides IR illumination with an IR distance of up to 100 m, supported by IR cut day/night operation.
Built for rapid and reliable detection, the camera uses deep learning to classify human and vehicle targets, improving alarm efficiency and effectiveness. It also supports face capture (up to 5 faces simultaneously), making it suitable for applications where identification of people is important. With H.265+ compression and multi-stream support, it helps optimize bandwidth and storage while remaining compatible with AcuSeek and AcuSearch technologies when used with supported NVR systems.
Additional security and situational features include an active strobe light and audio alarm to deter intruders, plus a built-in arrayed dual-microphone for real-time high-quality audio security. The device supports smart event detection (including line crossing and intrusion detection), region entrance/exiting, unattended baggage and object removal detection, and audio exception detection. With PTZ capabilities including 360° pan, auto flip tilt range, and up to 300 presets, the DS-2DE4225IWG1-E is engineered for scalable, intelligent perimeter and facility monitoring.
