Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE4225WG1-E3 is a 2MP in-ceiling PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) network speed dome designed for indoor surveillance over wide areas where fine detail at distance is required. Built around a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 1920 × 1080 resolution and supports advanced image processing for clear, stable views in challenging lighting. With a 25× optical zoom lens (4.8 mm to 120 mm), the camera can maintain subject detail across expansive scenes, while PTZ motion enables monitoring of zones of interest using features such as presets and patrol/pattern scans.
For visibility optimization, the camera includes wide dynamic range (WDR 120 dB) plus HLC/BLC and digital defog. Noise reduction features include 3D DNR, and the unit supports regional exposure and regional focus to prioritize key areas within the frame. Hikvision’s HIK AI-ISP is included to enhance noise reduction performance.
The DS-2DE4225WG1-E3 supports 12 VDC and PoE (802.3at) and uses an RJ45 10/100 Mbps network interface for easy IP deployment. For integration, it supports multiple streams with H.265+/H.265/H.264 compression, up to 20-channel simultaneous live view, and compatibility with NVR technologies including AcuSeek and AcuSearch. Audio can be linked with Hikvision network speakers and microphones, and the camera supports basic alarms and smart events such as line crossing and intrusion detection. It also offers deep-learning regional people counting for up to 8 detection regions.
