The Hikvision DS-2DE4A425IWG-E is a 4 MP network IR PTZ dome camera designed for long-range surveillance over expansive outdoor areas. Built with a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 2560 × 1440 resolution and supports high frame rates of up to 30 fps (depending on region and selected resolution). Powerful optical zoom (25× optical, with 16× digital zoom) helps bring distant subjects closer for clear identification and monitoring.

For challenging lighting environments, the camera features 120 dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for clear imaging against strong backlight. Low-light performance is enhanced with Hikvision’s powered-by-DarkFighter technology, while an IR illuminator with an 850 nm wavelength provides night-time visibility with an IR range up to 50 m. Pan and tilt control enables monitoring of zones of interest, with a pan range of 0° to 360° and tilt range of -5° to 90°, along with configurable pan/tilt speeds.

The DS-2DE4A425IWG-E supports smart analytics based on deep learning, including human and vehicle target classification. Additional functionality includes 300 presets, multiple patrol and pattern scan modes, 3D positioning, ROI, privacy masking, and event capabilities such as intrusion and line crossing detection. With an IP66 weather and dust resistant rating, scheduled tasks, and built-in memory card slot for local storage (microSD up to 256 GB), this PTZ camera is suitable for deployments such as roads, railways, airports, ports, parks, and large venues.
