Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE5225W-AE(T5) Network Speed Dome is a high-definition 2MP PTZ IP camera designed for long-range coverage and close-up detail across large outdoor areas. Featuring a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers crisp Full HD (1920 × 1080) images and strong performance in low-light conditions, powered by DarkFighter technology. The 25× optical zoom (with 16× digital zoom) helps bring distant subjects into clear view, making it well suited to applications such as roads, railways, airports, rivers, squares, parks, scenic areas, and other wide perimeter or site monitoring locations.
For challenging lighting scenarios, the camera includes Wide Dynamic Range (WDR 120 dB) plus HLC and BLC, alongside 3D DNR and digital defog to help improve visibility during backlight, glare, and mist conditions. Advanced imaging controls include regional exposure and regional focus. Connectivity and video delivery are supported via H.265+/H.265 compression for efficient bandwidth usage, with multiple streams available.
Built to withstand demanding environments, the dome is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance. It supports 24 VAC power and PoE (802.3at), and provides extensive PTZ capabilities including 300 presets, patrol and pattern scans, and scheduled tasks. With strong network security options and compatibility with Hikvision client software, this speed dome offers flexible, reliable operation for professional surveillance deployments.
