Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE5425IW-AE(T5) is a 4MP network IR speed dome PTZ camera designed for high-detail monitoring across wide areas. It uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver up to 2560 × 1440 resolution. With a powerful 25× optical zoom lens (plus 16× digital zoom), the camera supports close-up viewing for applications such as roads, railways, airports, rivers, squares, parks, scenic spots, and large venues.
For smart detection, the camera focuses on human and vehicle targets classification using deep learning, helping improve the relevance of alerts and tracking. It also provides excellent night performance with Hikvision DarkFighter technology and IR illumination with an IR range up to 150 m, supporting expansive night scenes.
The DS-2DE5425IW-AE(T5) includes core imaging enhancements such as WDR (120 dB), HLC and BLC, 3D DNR, defog, and regional exposure/regular focus options for challenging lighting conditions. Video is efficiently compressed using H.265+/H.265 to reduce bandwidth while maintaining clarity. PTZ capabilities include pan 360°, tilt -15° to 90° (auto flip), configurable pan/tilt speeds, and extensive control functions like presets (300), patrol scans, pattern scans, and scheduled tasks. Power options include 24 VAC and PoE (802.3at), and the dome is rated IP66 for outdoor installation.
