Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DE5425IWG-K/4G is a 4 MP (2560 × 1440) network IR speed dome designed for long-distance outdoor surveillance with powerful optical zoom and wide-area PTZ control. Featuring a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and 25× optical zoom (plus 16× digital zoom), it covers a wide field of view in wide angle and enables detailed views when zoomed in. The built-in IR illuminator supports night visibility up to 150 m, with “0 Lux with IR” listed as minimum illumination. A day/night IR cut filter supports operation across lighting conditions, while image features such as 3D DNR, HLC, WDR, defog, and privacy masks help improve clarity and usability in challenging environments.
For outdoor reliability, the dome includes a built-in heating glass for effective defogging and is rated IP66 for water and dust resistance. It supports performance mode and low power mode with listed power consumption of 3 W in low power mode and 0.3 W in sleep mode. The unit includes built-in eMMC storage up to 256 GB and a microSD/microSDXC card slot (up to 512 GB). PTZ capability includes 360° pan movement, tilt auto flip (-15° to 90°), up to 300 presets, and patrol/pattern scan functions.
Connectivity and management include Ethernet, third-stream video support, multiple codecs (H.265/H.264/MJPEG), SVC, and extensive network protocols. The device also supports Wi‑Fi AP for short-distance debugging in AP mode on Channel 11, and supports 12 V 1 A reverse power supply.
