The Hikvision DS-2DE7A812MCG-EB is a 7-inch 8MP 12× ColorVu network speed dome designed for high-definition surveillance over expansive areas. Built around a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it supports up to 3840 × 2160 (8MP) maximum resolution for detailed monitoring. With a 12× optical zoom lens (6.7 mm to 80.4 mm) and 64× digital zoom, the camera delivers close-up views across wide scenes—ideal for long-distance situational awareness on roads, railways, airports, squares, parks, scenic sites, and other outdoor venues.
For around-the-clock operation, the camera provides 24/7 colorful imaging powered by Hikvision ColorVu technology, supported by hybrid illumination (IR and white light). It offers expansive night visibility with IR illumination up to 150 m and white light up to 100 m, helping maintain color detail in low-light conditions. Audio-visual deterrence is supported via a white flashing light and audible warning that can be triggered by events.
Smart detection is enhanced using Hikvision AcuSense deep learning, focusing on human and vehicle classification alarm events to improve alarm efficiency. The system also supports face capture, detecting and capturing up to 5 faces simultaneously. Additional smart functions include line crossing, intrusion detection, regional entrance/exiting detection, unattended baggage/object removal detection, and smart tracking, along with PTZ features such as 300 presets and multiple scan patterns for routine monitoring.
