The Hikvision DS-2DF7A825IXG-EL(Y) 7A Series 8MP PTZ network speed dome delivers high-detail monitoring across large outdoor areas with a powerful 25× optical zoom lens. Built around a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it supports up to 3840 × 2160 (8MP) max resolution for crisp image capture. For low-light conditions, the camera uses DarkFighter 2.0 technology and an IR illuminator with a supplement light range of up to 300 m, enabling clearer surveillance at night.
Performance highlights include excellent backlight handling with 140 dB AWDR and support for rapid focus. The speed dome is engineered for stability and image clarity thanks to built-in gyroscope support and smart Pan-Tilt correction. PTZ operation is optimized with 300 presets, patrol scan support, 3D positioning, and preset freezing.
For intelligent security needs, the device includes deep learning functions such as face capture (up to 30 faces simultaneously), perimeter protection (line crossing, region entry/exit, intrusion detection), multi-target detection (human/face/vehicle), and face comparison with libraries. Road traffic capabilities cover license plate recognition and vehicle attribute detection, including driving direction and counting, in supported checkpoint scenarios.
