The Hikvision DS-2DF7C442IXG1-ELY is a 4MP IP PTZ speed dome network camera designed for long-range monitoring with exceptional night performance. It uses a 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver 4MP maximum resolution (up to 2688 × 1520) and a rapid, responsive PTZ system with 42× optical zoom plus 16× digital zoom for close-up views over expansive areas. In low light, the camera leverages DarkFighter technology and an IR illuminator with a stated IR distance of up to 400 m, making it well suited for outdoor perimeter and traffic scenes.
For challenging lighting conditions, the dome supports 150 dB AWDR to help maintain clear imaging against strong backlight. Built-in optical defog and electronic image stabilization (gyroscope-based EIS) support clearer footage in outdoor installations. Smart Pan-Tilt Correction improves PTZ accuracy for stable framing.
The DS-2DF7C442IXG1-ELY is built for demanding environments with IP67 weather resistance and IK10 vandal resistance (excluding the glass window). It also includes advanced analytics such as face capture (detect, track, capture, grading, and selecting faces in motion) and road traffic vehicle detection with license plate recognition in checkpoint scenarios. With 300 presets and multiple scan types (patrol, pattern, auto scan, and more), it supports scheduled tasks and flexible event-triggered recording and PTZ actions for security workflows.
