Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DF8425IXG1-ELWY is a DarkFighter 2.0 4MP Ultra-series network speed dome PTZ camera designed for long-range monitoring and reliable low-light performance. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver up to 2688 × 1520 maximum resolution, with excellent sensitivity down to 0.0005 Lux in color (F1.5, AGC ON) and 0.0001 Lux in B/W (F1.5, AGC ON), as well as 0 Lux operation with IR illumination.
For detailed observation over large areas, the camera provides 25× optical zoom and 16× digital zoom, supported by auto/semi-auto/manual focusing and rapid focus. A 150 dB AWDR (Wide Dynamic Range) improves image clarity against strong backlight, while built-in gyroscope-based EIS supports electronic image stabilization.
Night viewing is enhanced by IR illumination with an IR distance of up to 400 m, plus smart IR supplement lighting. The dome is built for tough environments with IP67 weather resistance and IK10 vandal resistance (excluding the glass window), making it suitable for outdoor installations.
Advanced analytics are supported through deep learning features including face detection/capture with face grading and best-face output, and road traffic detection for vehicle and motorcycle recognition in checkpoint scenarios, including license plate recognition and vehicle attribute detection. The camera also supports multiple video streams, H.265+/H.265/H.264 compression, and network security features such as HTTPS encryption and TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 level 2).
