Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DF8A442IXG1-ELY is a 4MP Ultra-series IP PTZ speed dome designed for long-range monitoring with exceptional low-light performance. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports up to 2688 × 1520 maximum resolution. For day and night imaging, the camera incorporates DarkFighter technology and an IR cut filter, delivering 0 Lux performance with IR illumination for true zero-light viewing.
With 42× optical zoom (plus 16× digital zoom), the dome can cover expansive scenes while still enabling close-up detail. For nighttime use, it provides an IR supplement light range of up to 500 m, supported by smart illumination for more consistent exposure.
The PTZ system offers 360° pan and tilt from -20° to 90° (with auto flip) along with smart pan-tilt correction to improve tracking accuracy. The dome includes advanced preset, patrol, pattern scan, and scheduled tasks, plus 3D positioning, preset freezing, and power-off memory.
For intelligent analytics, the camera supports Deep Learning features including face detection/capture and road traffic vehicle detection (including LPR capability in checkpoint scenario). It supports multiple detection workflows such as line crossing and intrusion detection, and provides face capture with grading and selection for moving targets.
Built for challenging environments, the unit is water and dust resistant (IP67) and vandal proof (IK10), with lightning/surge and voltage transient protection. It also supports on-board microSD storage (up to 1 TB) and extensive network/security capabilities.
