The Hikvision DS-2DF8C448I5XG1-ELW(Y) is a 4MP Ultra-series DarkFighter 2.0 IP PTZ speed dome designed for long-range monitoring and high-detail image capture in demanding low-light conditions. Built around a 1/1.2″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers high quality 2688 × 1520 maximum resolution with strong low-light performance and 0 Lux illumination when using the built-in laser. With DarkFighter 2.0 technology, the dome enables clear night visibility, while 150 dB AWDR helps maintain image clarity against strong backlight.
For flexible viewing, the camera provides 48× optical zoom with 16× digital zoom, covering both wide overviews and close-up target identification. It includes an expansive laser night view with a laser distance of up to 500 m, plus Smart Pan-Tilt Correction for improved positioning accuracy. The PTZ supports 360° continuous pan, tilt auto-flip (-20° to 90°), 300 presets, and multiple scanning patterns and scheduled tasks.
Advanced analytics features include face capture (detect, capture, grade, and select faces in motion), face comparison with encrypted libraries, and road traffic vehicle detection with LPR (license plate recognition) support in checkpoint scenarios. The camera is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance (excluding the glass window), making it suitable for outdoor deployment.
