Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DF8C848I5XG1-ELW is an IP 8MP DarkFighter 2.0 IR network speed dome PTZ designed for long-range, high-clarity monitoring in challenging low-light conditions. It uses a 1/1.2-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor with 8MP maximum resolution (3840 × 2160) and supports smooth high-frame-rate streaming (up to 120 fps in supported monitoring modes). For night performance, the camera combines DarkFighter 2.0 low-light imaging with a laser illuminator offering a supplement light range of up to 500 m, while still providing 0 Lux with IR.
For challenging lighting, it features 140 dB AWDR and optical defog, along with OIS (optical image stabilization) and smart pan-tilt correction to reduce image shake and improve positioning accuracy. The dome offers 48× optical zoom (plus 16× digital zoom) with auto/semi-auto/manual/rapid focus modes, and extensive PTZ control including 300 presets, 8 patrol scans, and 4 pattern scans.
Built for demanding environments, the unit is rated IP67 and IK10 (excluding glass window), supports smart face capture (detect/capture/grading/selecting faces in motion), and includes road traffic detection capabilities such as vehicle and motorcycle license plate recognition (checkpoint scenario). It also supports advanced AI multi-target detection for humans, faces, and vehicles, with face comparison against encrypted libraries.
