Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DF9C848LXG1-LW is an 8MP IP PTZ laser network speed dome designed for long-range, low-light surveillance and high-detail target capture. Built around a 1/1.2-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers up to 3840 × 2160 resolution and benefits from DarkFighter 2.0 technology for excellent performance in extremely low illumination. For challenging lighting conditions, it includes 140 dB AWDR to help maintain clear imaging against strong backlight and supports optical defog and OIS (optical image stabilization).
With a powerful 48x optical zoom (plus 16x digital zoom), the dome can cover expansive areas while still enabling close-up viewing of distant targets. The laser illuminator provides smart supplemental light with a laser distance of up to 800 m, making it suitable for perimeter and wide-area monitoring where people, faces, and vehicles may need to be distinguished. Motorized PTZ operation includes 360° pan, -20° to 90° tilt (auto flip), smart pan-tilt correction, 300 presets, and multiple patrol and pattern scan modes, with power-off memory for reliable recovery.
Advanced analytics support face capture (detect/capture/grade/select up to 30 faces in motion), face comparison with encrypted libraries, and road traffic detection for vehicles (with license plate recognition in checkpoint scenarios). The camera also features rain-sensing auto wiper, heater, and robust protection rated IP67 and IK10 (excluding glass window), with comprehensive network security features including TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 level 2).
