The Hikvision DS-2DY5425IXG-E is a 4MP IP PTZ network positioning system designed for long-range monitoring with exceptional low-light performance. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver up to 2560 × 1440 at 30 fps, providing high-resolution detail for active surveillance environments. For flexible viewing, the camera offers 25× optical zoom with 16× digital zoom, along with proportional pan control, 300 presets, and advanced PTZ patterns and patrol scans.

Night performance is built around Hikvision DarkFighter technology and an IR illuminator, supporting Smart IR and an IR supplementation range of up to 250 m. It also includes True WDR, digital defog, and EIS (electronic image stabilization) to maintain image quality under challenging weather, backlight, and vibration conditions.

For recording and streaming, it supports multiple streams with H.265+/H.265/H.264 compression, region of interest (ROI) with 8 fixed regions, and scalable video coding support. The camera includes audio input/output (1-ch each), 7 alarm inputs and 2 alarm outputs, RS-485, and scheduled tasks for recurring PTZ actions. It also supports deep learning face capture, including detecting and selecting the best face in motion.
