Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DY5440IXG-E is a 4MP PTZ network positioning system designed for long-range surveillance with a high-performance 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor. It supports up to 2560 × 1440 resolution at 30 fps and offers a powerful 40× optical zoom (plus 16× digital zoom) with proportional zoom for smooth, accurate framing.
For demanding lighting conditions, the camera features DarkFighter IR technology with a minimum illumination specification down to 0.005 Lux (color, F1.2, AGC ON) and 0.001 Lux (B/W, F1.2, AGC ON), reaching 0 Lux with IR. The IR illuminator provides supplement light up to 250 m with Smart IR for adaptive IR output.
Image quality is enhanced by True WDR, Defog, and EIS (electronic image stabilization), along with BLC/HLC and 3D DNR for clearer detail. Video compression options include H.265+/H.265/H.264 for the main stream and SVC support, with multi-stream recording capability (main/sub/third streams).
The PTZ system supports 360° endless pan and tilt from +90° to -90° with auto flip, configurable pan speeds up to 150°/s and tilt speeds up to 80°/s. Advanced functions include 3D positioning, 300 presets, patrol and pattern scan capabilities, scheduled tasks, and face capture (up to 10 faces) with smart tracking. The unit is outdoor-rated (IP66), includes a wiper, supports power-off memory, and uses Hi-PoE/PoE (802.3bt) up to 60 W.
