Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DY5A432MWG-ELW is a 4MP PTZ IP camera designed for long-range monitoring with powerful zoom and advanced low-light performance. It uses a 1/2.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor and supports up to 2560 × 1440 resolution at up to 30 fps (50 Hz/60 Hz variants). The camera offers 32× optical zoom with 16× digital zoom for flexible target framing, with a focal length range of 5.5 to 176 mm.
For day/night operation, the camera features a DarkFighter IR network positioning system and supports Smart IR, achieving a listed IR illumination distance of up to 100 m. It also supports a supplementary white light channel with a range of up to 80 m, enabling more natural color imaging when needed. Visual performance is enhanced with True WDR and digital defog, plus EIS image stabilization.
PTZ control includes 360° endless pan and +90° to -90° tilt, with configurable pan/tilt speeds and 300 presets. Advanced automation features include patrol scan, pattern scan, auto/preset pattern/patrol scheduling, and 3D positioning. Video processing includes H.265+/H.265/H.264 options, ROI with 8 fixed regions, and multi-stream support for efficient bandwidth management. Networking is robust with simultaneous live view up to 20 channels, NAS storage support, and compatibility with common Hikvision client software and browsers. The camera is built for harsh environments with IP66 protection and supports PoE 802.3bt.
