Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DY7236IX-A(T5) is a 7-inch, 2MP network PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera designed for long-range perimeter and area monitoring. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver up to 1920×1080 resolution at 30 fps. For challenging lighting conditions, the camera supports 120 dB WDR along with HLC, BLC, 3D DNR, Defog, and regional exposure/focus features to improve image clarity across varying scenes.
For extreme reach, the PTZ lens offers 36× optical zoom with 16× digital zoom, and an IR illuminator supplementing up to 150 m for night-time visibility. Day/night operation supports switching modes including auto and schedule. Video compression efficiency is supported via H.265+/H.265, helping reduce bandwidth while maintaining detail.
A wide set of PTZ functions is included such as 360° endless pan, auto flip tilt, 300 presets, and multiple scan modes (patrol scan, pattern scan, auto scan, tilt scan, random scan, frame scan and panorama scan). Smart features include DORI-based detection/recognition distances, face capture (up to 10 faces simultaneously), and smart event functions like line crossing and intrusion detection. The camera is built for outdoor installation with IP66 protection and is available as model DS-2DY7236IX-A(T5).
