Product Overview
The Hikvision DS-2DY9C280LXG-LWY/12 is a 2MP PTZ IP camera designed for long-range monitoring with exceptional low-light performance and advanced stabilization. It uses a 1/1.2-inch progressive scan CMOS for the PTZ channel and supports up to 1920 × 1080 resolution. With an 80× optical zoom lens (plus 16× digital zoom), the camera captures a large area and fine details at the same time, making it well-suited to wide perimeter and extended-coverage applications.
For night performance, the camera is built around DarkFighter 2.0 technology and includes an IR Laser illuminator (default off) with a supplement light range of up to 2000 m. Image quality is further enhanced by 150 dB AWDR to maintain clear visibility against strong backlight conditions.
Operationally, the DS-2DY9C280LXG-LWY/12 features a built-in gyroscope and OIS for PTZ stabilization, plus Smart Pan-Tilt Correction to support stable image output and improved movement accuracy. The camera supports VR Panorama for VR-assisted live view, simplifying PTZ operation through a 360° panorama virtual reality map. Additional functions include 3D positioning, scheduled patrol/preset scans, and support for microSD storage up to 512 GB, along with smart events such as line crossing and intrusion detection.
