Product Overview
The DS-2XV6646G0-LIZH(R)S from Hikvision is a 4 MP gantry crane varifocal network camera designed for long-distance monitoring in challenging lighting and harsh environments. It uses a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor to deliver up to 2560 × 1440 resolution, with support for high-frame-rate streaming (up to 60 fps at 2560 × 1440 in the main stream). For demanding backlight scenes, it includes true 120 dB WDR. Night performance is powered by Hikvision DarkFighter technology, combined with IR and white light illumination for extended visibility.
The camera features a varifocal auto-iris lens (2.8 to 12 mm or 8 to 32 mm models) with wide field-of-view coverage and auto/semi-auto/manual focus options. For real-world installation, it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and also accepts 9 to 36 VDC, simplifying wiring on cranes and industrial structures. A built-in wiper (-R variant) helps remove water and dust from the screen to maintain image clarity in dusty or damp environments. Protection rating is IP68 for water and dust resistance.
Network and platform features include HEOP with 8 TOPS computing power and support for third-party application import. For security and integration, it supports ONVIF/ISAPI/SDK/ISUP and multiple streaming/compression options including H.265/H.264. Motion and smart events support perimeter protection and various detection and recording linkages.
